This study is looking for participants who:
* Care recipients do not need to be living with the caregiver. Care recipients can reside in a care facility.
The Caregiver Resilience Study aims to understand how social networks – friends, family, and acquaintances –influence the caregiver experience. This study aims to explore and understand the real-life experiences and challenges faced by those caring for individuals living with dementia.
The overall purpose of this study is to create a better world for caregivers and those within their care. Through this study, researchers aim to gain an understanding of how individuals rely on social networks. These findings will aid in developing approaches and resources to assist caregivers achieve helpful support networks that facilitates well-being.
In this study, eligible participants will take part in two interviews focused on their experiences as a caregiver and the role their support network plays. The first interview will be a 60-minute phone conversation, followed by a 45-minute conversation. Researchers will ask questions about the caregiving experience, health, wellness, and social networks.
