About the Study:

CARE (Collaborative Approach for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders Research and Education) is an initiative to increase participation of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) in research. Researchers are creating a registry of AANHPI who are interested in participating in research studies. These studies will vary and cover an array of diverse topics such as Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, aging, caregiving, and other topics related to health across the lifespan.

Purpose:

The purpose of CARE is to create a very large repository of people who can be contacted about potential research studies. CARE aims to give AANHPI communities a voice and the opportunity to participate in health research through enrollment in the registry. The ultimate goal is to address the gap and reduce disparities in research participation among AANHPI.

What is Involved:

You will complete a 20-25 minute survey with information about your socio-demographic background, health conditions, health behaviors, and caregiving experiences (if applicable). You will then be entered into the registry and can be contacted about research in which you are eligible to participate.
